Living in a downtown area, it can be hard to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Luckily, the city of Milwaukee has an expansive lakefront and parks to explore without having to climb into a car! Here are a five parks worth visiting in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum

Located on the Milwaukee River, the Arboretum has scenic views, an iconic stone archway, and open trails that let you breath in the fresh air.

Three Bridges Park

Sitting along the Menomonee River near Miller Park, this outdoor space is a great place to walk and bike in the heart of an industrial jungle!

Riverside Park

I called my mom to tell her not to yell at me when she saw that some of my allotted food money was going to purchase a Barbie doll... at age 20. But then I began to investigate further and realized these dolls were a little to good to be true. While Barbie is certainly on to something with varying sizes, shapes, hair color, and means of expression for young girls, we are all still living in a Barbie world.
