Story: Kate and Louis are friends in an acting club they used to attend together after school. They were very close, and had grown very fond of one another. But one day, Louis comes back to the acting club one semester, only to realize Kate was not there. As it turns out, Kate has gotten an internship, which therefore left no time to attend the acting club with him. Overtime, they lost touch with one another.

Now Kate, as a college freshman, is coming back to the acting club. She hopes Louis is there, but feels the very real possibility of seeing no one she recognizes there. Louis meanwhile, has yet to come to terms with his feelings for her and her disappearance, telling himself that she has moved on and isn't coming back.

(Kate)
Expecting strangers
Expecting strangers
In this old room,
This familiar gloom
I have not come here
For a couple of years

I wonder constantly if he is there,
I wonder if he is aware
That I might be coming back
Let me hear his thoughts and fears

(Louis)
I knew a girl once long ago
She's gone right now
Gone where I don't know.
I'm gonna have to let her go.

I came back one spring
To see her there
I come back this fall
And I'm quite aware
That she has gone
Where I can't follow

But does she...

(Kate)
Does he...

(Both)
Remember my face?

(Louis)
Does she...

(Kate)
Does he...

(Both)
Think of this place?

(Kate)
Into his eyes I have gazed
While the afternoon sun blazed

(Louis)
Her mind's an ever-changing maze
Her voice as sweet as cinnamon glaze

(Kate)
Will he...

(Louis)
Will she…

(Both)
Depart to the trains again
After each afternoon
Oh-oh
Will we...
See each other again?

(Kate)
I am walking
Down the street
My worn-out boots
Back on my feet
I walk inside
Expecting him

Around me is the city lights
Lighting up another night
I wonder if I can speak to him
When and where the light is dim.

(Louis)
Now I'm walking down
The familiar halls
Red, and where
My destiny calls
In this place
She and I had played.

I talk about her sometimes
Each time I didn't even know
Until I began to see sometimes
That what I feel is what I displayed

(Kate)
But does he...

(Louis)
Does she...

(Both)
Remember my face?

(Kate)
Does he...

(Louis)
Does she...

(Both)
Think of this place?

(Kate)
I see the afternoon sun blaze
And I think of cinnamon glaze

(Louis)
Into her eyes I want to gaze
Take me away into her maze

(Kate)
Will he...

(Louis)
Will she...

(Both)
Depart to the trains again
After each afternoon
Oh-oh
Will we...
See each other again?

(Kate)
Expecting strangers,
Expecting strangers

(Louis)
Let her go,
Let her go

(Kate)
Expecting strangers
Expecting him

(Louis)
Let her go,
Can't let her go

(Both)
Will we see each other again?

...

(Louis)
Oh she...

(Kate)
Oh he...

(Both)
Remembers my face!

(Kate)
And he...

(Louis)
And she...

(Both)
Thinks of this place!

Life's an ever changing maze
Sometimes as sweet as cinnamon glaze
Into our dreams, we have gazed
While the afternoon sun blazed

(Louis)
And we...

(Kate)
And we...

(Both)
Depart to the trains again
Just like each afternoon
Oh-oh!
Will we...
See each other again?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
