When it comes to college classes, most of the time you have different classes each semester and then comes the process of making friends in whatever classes you are currently in.
Sometimes you may already have friends in that class or at least someone you kind of know. If not that is okay too, but having that person that you can just connect with and make the class a little more enjoyable is so important.
Classes can be so blah sometimes and being able to have someone who makes that class a little easier is always good. I have a friend in one of my classes and in there she is like my partner in crime. We can crack jokes, go to each other for help and do our best to try and survive this class together.
The other great thing about having a class-best friend is that you can help each other out. You can study together and help each other when you have assignments to turn in. You are basically each others editor and can depend on each other even through the toughest assignment or midterm. I mean you can't go wrong with having someone else who is on the same page as you and you can just talk about what is going on and they actually know what you are talking about.
Now I know this could be something that might be hard to achieve and it may not happen every semester, but when it does happen it is an amazing thing. There are only a few things that can help make college go a little smoother and sometimes having that class best friend it is a huge help. College can already be enough of a stress as it is, but when you can have someone to joke around with and make the class just a little lighter, it helps. Even if it only helps a little bit, it is better than nothing.
Don't get me wrong I am not saying you have to try and force these things and it may not happen in every class. There is a special group that you are able to connect with, but they are some of the best people. I have come to love the people who were and are my class best friends. Some amazing friendships have sprouted from our time in class together and I couldn't have asked for better experiences.
Even if those relationships don't get maintained after a class finishes, there is still something so unique about the relationship that is built during a class. From having to learn everything together to midterms and finals, you go through a lot together and gaining a friendship come out of that is even better.
In the end, there are so many wonderful things about having a class-best friend. So don't be afraid to make those connections and who knows, you never know what kind of friendship will come out of it.
