Best Cafes–Turned-Study Spots In Evanston

It is probably starting to sink for you in that school is really, really happening now. Here are some great cafes in Evanston that offer a double threat: yummy treats with a great studying atmosphere.

Kafein
Looking for comfy couches and a large latte while you’re studying? Kafein’s dimly lit atmosphere provides the perfect place to grab coffee with a friend or to disappear for a few hours to get some serious studying done. This spot even has live music on some nights.

Patisserie Coralie
When you open up the door of this French patisserie, you will feel like you have been transported to the most authentic café in Paris. Be sure to try their perfectly baked croissants and European-style espresso. This is a great place to take your family or friends when they are in town for the weekend.

Unicorn Café
With its convenient location and down-to-earth atmosphere, this is a great place to schedule a meeting or stop by while running errands in downtown Evanston. Enjoy one of their chai lattes while listening to some live music.

Coffee Lab
This stop is just steps away from the Noyes ‘L’ Stop--the perfect place to get your cup of coffee, whether you are on your way to Chicago or passing through on a Saturday afternoon. The Coffee Lab brews coffee and espresso in a variation of ways and offers a selection of bakery items that truly can’t be beat--their scones are out of this world.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
