With the holiday season quickly approaching, we need to scramble around finding the perfect gifts to give to all of our friends and family, with the help of a current college student, this article will help you pick and choose quick and easy gifts for all your closest friends!

1. Sweaters in Any Form

Big sweaters, cropped sweaters, sweater dresses, you name it; there's a sweater form of it. You won't go wrong with buying a sweater as a gift this holiday season because everyone always appreciated a sweater that will keep them warm.

2. Makeup

Of course, buy the things that are high in demand but cost just enough in your budget, that can easily make your everyday girl happy to put a new highlighting palette to work.

3. Jewelry

This is an obvious go-to gift, you can always find cheap and in style jewelry that girls will love, a simple pair of earring, a necklace, or a ring! These gifts are timeless and will constantly be loved by the person you give them too!

4. Shoes

Girls can never have enough shoes! With all the new shoes coming out on a daily basis, we are always on the hunt for something. Plus, with so many options to choose from, you can not possibly go wrong with getting a nice pair of sandals, sneakers, or boots that you will be giving!

5. College Gear

Although us college students spend most of our time on our college campus, we do not have the time or the money to spend on our own college apparel! Making this a great gift for your close friends! You can even buy your clothes from your own college bookstore to give to your close friends so they can have a bunch of different college clothes to choose from!

6. Anything Lush!

Everyone loves a good bath bomb, especially over winter break; the best time to unwind and relax before the start of the next semester. Lush, a highly popular body shop makes all different types of bath needs to make a bath or even shower more fun for you and your skin!

7. Underwear

5/$27 is the one thing all girls gravitate towards in the mall no matter what season it is. Plus, you can never have too much underwear!

8. Sweatpants/Lounging Clothes

Clothes like joggers and hoodies are really nice to have because you can wear them out and be super comfortable, or wear them around the house and be super comfortable. This gift will be used for many different occasions and everyone loves a huge sweatshirt or sweatpants to bundle into!

9. Room Accessories

This can be totally personalized and made into a super cute DIY project for one of your good friends! You can take photos that you and your friend have together and put them in cute packaging for your friend to put all around her room or on her desk. A fun and easy gift that can show how much you appreciate your friend!

10. Mugs and other Cups

Cups and mugs are super nice because you can take them to go and reuse them throughout the day. This gift will be perfect for all your coffee loving friends because they will have a larger cup to keep up their caffeine addiction.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
