Helping out the environment is very important, we love having clean air, clean water, just clean everything, but what can we do to help out the environment but we don't know where to start?

Here is a few tips on how you can help the environment!

1. Buy your own water bottle

Hydration is very important throughout the day, thats why it is important to drink water, but we also got to think about saving the environment as well, plastic water bottles when thrown into the wrong place can cause major damage, so if you can buy a reusable water bottle that you can refill throughout the day.

2. Donate your pop tabs

Ronald McDonald House Charities collect any kind of tabs from your drinks and they recycle what they get and all of the funds go towards the houses expenses, so before you recycle those cans pull of the pop tabs and donate them to a good cause.

3. Ride a bike when you can

One of the best ways to go green, if you are able to go somewhere via bike as long as you don't have anything major to carry go out and ride a bike to your destination.

4. Walk!

Walk with a friend, by yourself, with your dog, just go out for a walk and enjoy the fresh air.

5. Pick up trash wherever you go

I see so much trash on peoples lawns, in the ocean, on the beach, on the streets its like people forget what a trash can looks like, if you see trash pick it up, if you have trash wait until you find a trash can just don't throw it on the ground!

6. Plant a tree

It's awesome just don't cut it down for more paper.

7. Just be nice to the environment

You live on this planet be nice to it!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
