Do you ever wonder what happens when you google your name? The other day I was talking to my boyfriend and a thought popped into my head: I want to Google his name and see what embarrassing stuff comes up. And, no, I'm not a crazy girlfriend; we just like to make fun of each other like the sarcastic people we are.

So I looked up his name and nothing came up, except for his times from track meets in high school. So then I googled my name... And yes, I was the one with embarrassing stuff. Embarrassing homemade memes to be exact! I once wrote an Odyssey article about my Disney vacation as told by memes of myself.

Ever since then, these memes have been on google pictures whenever you search "Gianna D'Ambrozio." So here are the top five memes that will be recirculated on the internet even more because of this article...

1. Narcissistic Gianna

This is me in Disney World's Epcot in the England Pavillion. I'm trying to look posh and dramatic in a plaid scarf and a British hat that I would most definitely wear to a royal wedding. Prince Harry should drop Meghan Markle for this future queen.

2. Barbie Girl Gianna

This is me posing at the end of the night at the Magic Kingdom. I am delirious at this moment since I've been up since 6 AM and have been at the park for around 13 hours. But, I'm in Disney World!! I'm just striking a pose with Mickey Mouse plushes like the average 18-year-old girl dressed up as Snow White. Casual.

3. Cool Gianna

Here I am in Epcot's Paris Pavillion. This is my "carefree Parisian woman" look. I'm really not sure what I was thinking when I took this photo, but I most definitely look more constipated instead of looking cool.

4. Donald Duck Gianna

When in Disney World, do as the Disney characters do! Here I am trying to have a Donald Duck pringle mouth as any typical college girl would try to achieve. I am failing quite miserably, and my beak is also broken.

5. Failure Gianna

Here is a picture of plush emoji Simba and I laughing at my potential failure. After taking my biology midterm this week, I feel like I really relate to this meme on a spiritual level.

I hope you all enjoyed looking at my embarrassing memes! Remember to always find humor in things, even if it means taking horrible pictures of yourself and making them into sub-par memes. Life can be too serious sometimes, so just google your name and laugh at the embarrassing things you find, whether it's a picture of you winning 3rd place in the fourth-grade science fair or a picture of you with glasses and braces pretending to be a ghost (these examples may or may not be based on real life).

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
