College; the best years of your life. When you look back on your time in college, you generally think about social experiences. However, what if classes became a little more interesting? Here are 10 classes we wished were available to take that would help us develop our skills in a unique and exciting way.

1. Phys Ed 398: Beyonce's Choreography


Who hasn't wished they could dance like Beyonce? This class would be your chance to not only learn how to dance like Beyonce, but learn her choreography from her most famous dances like Single Ladies. You'll be able to bring this skill to any dance floor after this intense dance class.

2. Sociology 233: Adulting: The Art of Becoming an Adult

College, the first time of freedom. But, how exactly does one do their taxes? Or cook a real meal (frozen dinners don't count). What about understanding how to put together IKEA furniture? Or finding your first apartment. This course is your go-to guide to everything dealing with your new adult life.

3. Women's Studies 108: Love, Lust and Relationships

This class will examine today's culture when it comes to love and relationships. A big part of the class with be discussion on what exactly today's hook up culture is and how to deal with it.

4. Food Science 300: Battle of the Brands

There is always a debate when it comes to food and what brand is better. This class will explore different brands and compare each with each other. For example, Chipotle vs. Qdoba — the two restaurants will be compared in terms of what's available on the menu, nutrition facts, employee benefits and more. At the end of each comparison, there will be blind taste tests to see who the real winner is!

5. History 400: Influential Women in History


This course will examine several different influential women throughout history. These women include Audrey Hepburn, Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Condoleezza Rice, Lady Gaga and more.

6. Communication 290: Communication Practices of Reality TV

This course will take an in depth look at the communication practices of your favorite reality television shows. It will look at how contestants communicate with each other and how this influences the rest of society. Shows that will be examined will be The Bachelor, Bad Girls Club, The Real World, Real Housewives of New Jersey and more.

7. Anthropology 200: Anthropology of Body Modification

Body modification is not only common in the United States culture but many other cultures across the world. Things such as tattoos, piercings, scarification, gauging, lip discs and neck rings will be topics of discussion. A look why each culture believes in extreme modifications will be brought up, as well.

8. Film 175: History of Superheroes

Super Hero movies have been around for decades. This film class will examine how superhero movies have transformed over the years and the history behind the films.

9: Writing 304: Rap and Poetry

Rap lyrics from Kayne West, Tu Pac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., and more will be examined as a form of poetry. Students can expect to write their own poetry and rap following one of their favorite rap artists styles.

10. Philosophy 490: Reality of Harry Potter


Could the wonderful world of magic that is Harry Potter potentially be happening? How would it occur? Discussions of how an alternative universe and magic will be topics of discussion. Your logic and reasoning skills will be heightened as you analyze one of the world's most loved stories.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
