It takes about eight minutes
For the beams of sunlight to arrive Earth
Piercing through vacuum space they bravely proceed
Until they warmly touches the atmosphere, the ground, the skin of young girls
And if the Sun is to go out suddenly
The temperature shall still remain
For eight more minutes
Until people start to realize the truth, to freeze, to die
Eight minutes of fake comfort
Is what the universe leaves us humans
The final pity
A merciful act among all cruelty
