7 Easy Tips To Lose Weight Healthily

As someone who's always trying to be healthier and lose weight, I know how hard it can be to stay on a strict diet. Basically, restricting myself never works, and it's way better to enjoy everything in moderation. Instead, here are seven easy tips to help you be healthier without eating only vegetables.

1. Reduce your intake of carbs and sugar

Giphy

Obviously, carbs and sugar are two of the most amazing things in this world, so I understand how hard it is to cut them out of your diet completely. Which is why a more realistic way of going about this is just to slowly reduce how much you eat of these types of foods.

2. Try a calorie tracker app

Giphy

There are a bunch of apps that track how many calories you eat in a day and keep you on track based on your body type and how much weight you want to lose. These can help stop you from overeating, just remember not to eat fewer calories than you should be!

3. Work out a few times a week

Giphy

Most people don't have the time to work out every day, but working out two or three times a week can still make a difference. Also, if you don't belong to a gym, there are a lot of fitness YouTube videos that you can follow.

4. Figure out a workout plan that works for you

Giphy

One of the most important parts of working out is figuring out what works for you. Sometimes certain workouts are great for other people, but just don't work for you. If something hurts, try to find an alternative for it, or, if you're using a machine with weights, start low and work your way up over time.

5. Drink lots of water

Giphy

This one is pretty obvious. According to health authorities, the average person should drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water every day.

6. Try healthier desserts

Giphy

Fruit, yogurt and granola, and low-calorie ice creams like Halo Top are all great alternatives for traditional desserts.

7. Remember it's okay to have a cheat meal

Giphy

The most important thing to remember is not to fall off the wagon completely if you indulge in a cheat meal. It's okay to eat whatever you want in moderation!

It's important to remember that not everybody will react to the same diet or workout plan in the same way. It really depends on your body and what you feel works for you because everybody's body is different! Never continue with a diet or workout plan if it's harming you in any way, mental or physical.

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
