Not only is the title of this article a dank meme, it's also wonderful advice for setting and achieving goals. As the hip kids say, I'm gonna give you some pro tips on how to succeed in making your dreams into a reality.
First, you have to listen to Dr. LaBeouf's magic words of "Just do it!". You can't just sit back on the sidelines and expect your dream to come true. You have to do something. Not only try but you have to understand where you are and where you want to be. Your dream is the destination and no you have to make a road map for your future in order to reach that destination. Use the internet. It's more than just cats, memes, and YouTubes. Find out the answer online. Ask for help from people in that field or who have done something similar. Use the expertise of others to help you build your future.
Second, follow Professor LaBeouf's advice of "Yesterday you said tomorrow so just do it." You have to understand the importance of time management. Because if you procrastinate on your dreams you're gonna fail. If you waste your college years smoking the devil's lettuce instead of snorting some knowledge, you're gonna be back at step one. You'll waste your whole life dreaming and waiting. You have to get out there and work for it. That brings us to our next pro tip.
"Stop giving up," Colonel LaBeouf's famous words ring true to this day. You have to fight for your dream. You have to work hard because giving up is only going to keep you where you started. You have to pull yourself up by your bootstraps because that's the only way you can do it. Superman won't come to save the day. You have to, "Just do it!" Nobody is going to give you your dream. I know what you're thinking, there is no way I can do it. Everyone is chasing there dream, right? Wrong. Because they give up or they're wasting their time waiting for tomorrow. They either aren't talented or they aren't working at it. You can do it.
Lastly, you have to be proactive about your dream. I know it's difficult. We just look at screens all day and take in commercial after commercial and we're expected to get off the couch. Get off the sidelines because most people are too afraid to do it. You can't look back because you'll just get back on the couch again. Stop watching and start acting. What do you have to lose? If you give up you'll be right back where you started. Life will run right by you unless you step up to the plate. Set your path and take that first step. Navigate your future because you're following the north star while others treading the path more traveled by.
