The Dream BFF: Matt Bellassai

Every new year brings the promise of being awesome and I have an inkling 2015 will be even more than that. By now, resolutions have been made, goals have been set, travel destinations have been organized, but new relationships can still begin. Befriending Matt Bellassai is a relationship everyone should be pursuing. Below are reasons why Matt Bellassai would shine as your BFF. 

He's Kind. 

From what I’ve gathered Matt seems to be a stand-up guy with a dollop of humor and a side of sassy sarcasm. Matt's kindness is demonstrated in his writing of  “27 Things To Say When You Wanna Escape From Being Hit On”. It was generous of Matt to take time out of his day to help us out. Matt also posts friendly reminders for us all to not be stupid and shares that he loves us even though we’re not members of his favorite boy band. 

He's honest. 

Matt tells people what he’s thinking. He’s very bold. That’s all I’ve ever wanted in a BFF. Here is documented proof of Matt telling it as it is. 

He says what we're all thinking.
Because of Matt’s honesty he’s always saying what we’re thinking and we’re incredibly thankful for that. Matt can we be friends?

He's talented. 
I don’t pick my BFF based on honesty and kindness alone. My BFF needs to have talent. Matt is a Senior Editor at Buzzfeed and totally kicks ass. Some people have a way with words and some people not have way with words. Matt Bellassai is a guy who has a way with words.

He just gets me. 
I want my BFF to understand me. Matt hasn’t even met me and he already gets me. We’re soon-to-be kindred spirits. 

He's FUN.
By now you’re like, “okay. Matt Bellassai seems pretty cool” well that’s not all. Matt is totally Fun! Did you know Matt did a donut crawl and ate 12 donuts in one morning. The only way I can describe that morning: FUN. Or… challenging. Either way, let me show you how fun Matt can be!

His fangirl expertise. 

I first found out about Matt because of his love for One Direction and Beyoncé. This guy is committed and I loved that about him. 

He is admired by Harry Styles.

If Matt is good enough for Harry Styles he's good enough for you and me. Anyone that can pal around with Harry Styles is meant to be my BFF.
