Around the world, people from several countries are playing Pokémon Go on their Apple or Android phones. Several articles about it and the accidents related to the game have been written, and several include warnings to players about the possible dangers they may face when playing the game. Hopefully the following tips will be helpful for when you're playing, enabling you to stay safe and have fun in the process!

1. If you’re hunting Pokémon outside, in a city, or on a crowded walkway or area, and you happen to be catching a Pokémon, leave room for others to pass you.

Don’t stop in the middle of the sidewalk when you’re catching Pokémon. If you’re on a sidewalk, rather than standing in the middle of it, pull over to the side, or position yourself up against a building. This will give people room to pass by you. Don’t block doorways into businesses or stores either. Remember, they’re still open for business, and probably don’t want their entrances obstructed just because a wild Flareon appeared.

2. Don’t hunt Pokémon and drive.

If you’re a passenger in a car, bus or subway, it's completely acceptable to play, but don’t attempt to play Pokémon Go and drive a car. You’re likely to cause an accident, and several car accidents involving Pokémon Go have been reported.

3. Remember to look both ways when playing and crossing the street.

No need to get hit by an oncoming truck because of Pikachu, right?

4. When playing Pokémon Go at night, do your best to play in well-lit areas

And if you feel like you're being watched or followed, call 911. Be sure to tell someone where you are if it's after dark, so they know what you're up to in case something goes wrong.

5. Don’t bump into people, and keep a keen eye on your surroundings.

Also, remember to respect the rules of property; if a park or other public area is closed, and a Pokémon shows up there, come back when it's open. if a rare Pokémon appears to be in someone's backyard and they don't give you permission to enter their premises, let it go, and move on. There's surely other bigger and better Pokémon elsewhere.

6. Remember to stay hydrated while on the go hunting for Pokémon.

If you’re embarking on an all-day excursion to go Pokemon hunting, pack some water bottles, money for food or snacks from home, coffee, or whichever food and beverage you prefer.

Hopefully these tips help your Pokémon Go gaming experience run more smoothly!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
