Don't Sit Too Close To The TV

Actually, try it and see what happens

You know what I've realized?

As if my mom saying it fifteen times isn't enough...

I watch a lot of TV. Almost too much.

And it's not like I'm sitting in front of the tv waiting for different shows to come on every day. Like most people, I don't have the time to watch any show live. So I watch it on DVR's and Rokus like the the way you're supposed to.

But, I'm starting to think that maybe I should cut back on them.

I know everyone has those shows that they love, the show that they would watch eighteen times over if you let them...mine usually being FRIENDS or Bob's Burgers. Pretty Little Liars also comes into mind (back when that show was ruining the lives of everyone that watched it).

My list runs on and on.

And because I am a person that likes to make sure all of my t's are crossed and my i's are dotted, I make sure to document all of this. Meaning every single show that's currently in its new season has a spot on my phone corresponding to what day and time it comes on just to make sure I don't somehow miss it.

Yes, it is quite that serious.

It's not that I even want to make sure that I'm available to watch it at that specific time- because I can guarantee you that that isn't going to happen. It's just basically there so I can have it as a guide to look at the next day when I can finally carve out an hour of my day to catch up on Grey's Anatomy (I've invested 14 seasons into this show, and I don't intend to stop now).

So, I hope you can relate to this. I hope you relate to the fact that as long as you have a job or are in school or if you just have a way to stay busy, go ahead and come to terms with the fact that you won't be able to catch up on your shows like you want to. But, you'll get there.

I believe in you. And me too.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
