My Dog is My Favorite Person

We commonly say that dogs are man's best friend. My dog really is my best friend. She turned six years old in November and I got her when she was a puppy. She is a black and white toy parti poodle. My precious dog always knows what to do to cheer me up. She sleeps with me when I am at home and always makes me feel better. Mara is an overweight little furball that has lots of cuddles to give. Her favorite things are treats, cuddles, and any food she can steal off my plate.

Mara is also a therapy dog for me. She can sense when I feel bad and when I have a migraine. Her comfort and warmth help me get through them. This sensitivity is why she always is with me when I have to sleep through a migraine and when I am in pain. She is my #1 nap buddy and always knows when I need her. Mara's cuddles are the best cuddles! I will definitely miss her when I have to go back to school. Right now she is on my lap watching the waves at the beach and could not be happier.
