Do You Believe In Aliens?

Do you believe in aliens? Do you believe they have visited Earth and even abducted some of us? The first question is a standard question, but the second gets a little crazy. I believe in aliens, but I'm not sure if they have visited Earth and abducted people. Part of me says yes and another says no. When people come forward to say they were abducted and gives information, the media makes them sound like crazy people. Its hard to really know what actually happens to these people. Whether aliens are real or not, we will discuss a few stories and the logic behind the questions.

With as many planets, solar systems, and galaxies there are, there must be alien life somewhere out there. The universe is huge. It makes it hard to believe that we humans are the only sentient beings in the universe. It just doesn't make sense. Now to ask if they have visited us is a different logical answer. Videos, eyewitness accounts, and testimonials are very abundant. Stories about the mysteries Area 51 is also abundant. Has the government made contact with alien live and are not telling us? That is a conspiracy theory on all its own, but I will share with you a very historic moment within the alien history.

The Roswell UFO incident is a very famous one and is very controversial. Today it is known that the object that had crashed was a surveillance balloon, but at the time, a large amount of details were being left out by the U.S. military. In 1947 a suspected surveillance balloon crashed on a ranch in New Mexico. Reports of the incident say the object was a flying saucer, but the military reported it to be a weather balloon at the time. Conspiracy theories came up left and right.

Finally in the 1990's the military finally released detailed documents of the crash. An alien autopsy film released in 1995 causing an alien sensation around the world. The video is reportedly directly from the U.S. military. The video aired on many news outlets. The original video was lost later on. The Roswell Crash is very interesting, but what brings more questions then Area 51.

Area 51 is a United States Air Force facility in Nevada. Its real name is Edwards Air Force Base, but ever since the CIA used the name Area 51 in a Vietnam document, it has been labeled that ever since. The bases purpose is publicly unknown. The area is off limits to all civilians including a nearby lake and the air above is a no fly zone as well.

Many conspiracy theories surround Area 51 as well. The biggest is that alien research is being conducted there. Some think they hold alien beings there and interrogate. Some also believe that they are reverse-engineering alien spacecraft that they have recovered. The alien autopsy video was thought to come from Area 51.The amount of information given to the public regarding Area 51 is very minimum. Its mysteriousness keeps it in the back of my mind.

Do you think aliens have made contact with humans and the government is trying to keep it a secret? That is for you to decide. The evidence on the Roswell incident makes it look and sound like it was a balloon crash. Maybe there is more, but we may never know. Area 51 raises a lot of questions that may never be answered. Maybe one day aliens will invade Earth like they do in "Independence Day". Hopefully they aren't as hostile. Or maybe we will find alien life and we become the invaders. Either way, we humans are still considered alien, its just the thought that maybe we aren't alone in this silent universe.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
