Why You Should Go To Disney World As a Young Adult

This past week my family and I went to Disney World. The last times I went was seven years ago and I was about eleven years old. Getting to go this past week was a totally different experience then I have had in the past. Now that I'm a little older and have really developed a taste for anything Disney and have picked my own favorite movies and characters based on my own thoughts and opinions, I've learned to appreciate Disney world from a whole new world. If you didn't catch what I was going for there than you aren't truly a Disney fan. Anyways, here are a few reasons I think you should go to Disney World or Disney Land (even though I've never really been to Disney Land but have heard its similar) as a young adult.

1. It's Magical!

Almost anywhere you go it seems like the people are trying to make your experience the best that it could be. For example my family and I went to a new restaurant called the Be Our Guest Restaurant and we ordered our food and sat at a random table. We asked a lady how they would know where we sat and her exact words were "its magic." Sure enough, they found our table and they gave us a bunch of free deserts because I was celebrating and it took a little longer than usual to bring out the food. Did we notice it was taking a while to bring out the food? No, we were too busy looking at the amazing structure of the restaurant we were in.

2. You Get To Meet As Many Characters As You Want

Luckily for me, my mom was willing to walk around all of the parks and wait in lines just so I could meet the people I wanted to meet. I ended up taking pictures and meeting with Jasmine, Aladdin, Cinderella, Ana, Elsa, Mickey Mouse and so many more. The good part is you have more patience to wait in a not so long line to meet the characters you want to meet.

3. You Can Ride All of the Rides

The best part about being a young adult is being able to ride every single ride with out worrying about a height requirement or having to skip that ride because you have someone who can't ride the ride. My mom and I got to go on Space Mountain three times. If you know anything about Disney world the lines are usually long and are at least a thirty minute wait but we got fast passes and went in the morning when there are less people.

4. You Can Go Through The Single Rider Line

For those of you who don't know what that is its a separate line for people who just want to ride my themselves and its a quick line and you can almost go through faster than you can if you get a fast pass. It's really great if you aren't afraid to ride by yourself or sit with another person.

5. You Get To Let Your Little Kid Side Free

Its pretty much the only time you get to wear Mickey Mouse ears or a Goofy hat and get away with it. You get butterflies every time you wait in line to meet a character because even though you know that it's not really them, you still get excited. It makes it even better if you've been to Disney before as a kid because it brings back the memories than you will never forget.

In conclusion, I highly recommend you go to Disney World before you get old and before you have kids so you can experience the magic for yourself. Let your inner Disney freak fly!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
