Is it just me or are there times when it really seems like our generations is missing something? In past generations, science experienced the likes of Einstein and Edison, in Hollywood James Dean and Marlon Brando, and in sports Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson. Sometimes it seems like that would have been a heck of a time to be alive. Time travel hasn't been figured out yet, so there's no shot we will get to experience past generations the way our parents and grandparents did, but there is a way to get a taste. Music.
You can pretty much take music with you anywhere these days and why not take some history with you through the good music of past years? Sure, we have tons of great music coming out almost everyday, but there is endless amounts of music that came out a long time ago that we would really be missing out on if we didn't give it a listen.
