Planning holiday meals are great but let’s be honest, everyone is looking forward to the different desserts always around this time of year. I've attached some easy recipes for these sweet treats, enjoy! These are some of the goodies being baked up this winter:

1. Gingerbread Cookies

For me, gingerbread just reminds me of Christmas growing up. They’re just so snappy and they’re also perfect for building a confection condo fit for any cookie.

2. Sugar Cookies

Sugar cookies are also a staple for me around this time of year. Whether they’re loaded up with colored frosting, sprinkles, and other decorations, or a thin layer of some buttercream, there’s something for everyone!

3. Chocolate Chip Cookies

A classic cookie fit for any situation; there’s something different about chocolate chip cookies around the holidays though. They come out of the oven and they’re just perfect, round, warm circles of heaven.

4. Peanut Butter Cookies

Another personal fave, peanut butter cookies are perfect with a glass of milk. And if you’re feeling creative, you can add some tiny Reese’s to the tops for a little twist!

5. Thumbprint Cookies

These cookies come in so many different forms, sometimes they have chocolate in the middle or a peppermint Hershey's kiss nestled in the center!

6. Snickerdoodle Cookies

There’s something about cookies covered in cinnamon sugar that just makes a dessert even better if that’s possible.

7. Nut Crescents

These cookies are so fun and go by so many different names! They have ground up walnuts in them and are covered in powdered sugar, what’s not to love?

8. Pizzelle

A traditional Italian waffle cookie that can chewy or crunchy; they also sometimes have cannoli cream sandwiched between them. Yum!

9. Chocolate Dipped Coconut Macaroons

These are perfect for the people who love some coconut! Add some chocolate, I’m in!

10. Scones

There are so many different ingredients you can add you your scones: blueberries, chocolate chips, cranberries, nuts, etc, there’s a variety for everyone you’ll be seeing at your holiday parties this year!

11. Biscotti

Another dessert that can have tons of different kinds of berries, nuts, and chocolates hidden inside. Biscotti are perfect for dunking in your after dinner tea or coffee!

12. Peppermint Bark

If you’re a fan of all things peppermint mixed with some chocolate, this is the sweet for you.

13. Peanut Brittle

Breaking off a hunk of crunchy, sweet peanut brittle is definitely something that reminds me of the holiday season.

14. Buckeyes

Another peanut butter/chocolate combo that’s a perfect bite-sized treat!

15. Oreo Truffles

These are the best kind of truffle, who doesn’t love a creamy Oreo center covered in white chocolate, drizzled with milk chocolate, and sprinkled with Oreo crumbles?

Now that the holiday season is officially upon us, these are just some of the yummy treats you can munch on! Cookies are definitely one of my favorite parts of the food around the holidays. But there are so many other desserts to enjoy with your loved ones this year as well! Hope this list can give you the dessert inspo you’re looking for! Happy baking!

So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
