Democrats, Please Do Not Vote For Bernie Sanders

If you want Trump to be president again, by all means, nominate that socialist hack.

Bernie Sanders: An old socialist scumbag that despite his appearing to be close to 90 years of age, will not go away. I cannot think of a politician I have more disdain for than Bernie Sanders (other than our president). His "Democratic Socialism" scam that he has been spoon-feeding to Americans for years is repulsive and he should get nowhere near the Oval Office. Even a 3rd place finish was too close for my liking.

So as someone who does not want to vote for season 2 of Donald Trump please for the love of God do not nominate Bernie Sanders. Democrats have the easiest job in the world to regain the presidency: Don't nominate someone that's the Walmart version of a Communist.

Almost all of Bernie's platform is inherently flawed and misguided and would be devastatingly bad for our economy and middle-class citizens. Despite what liberals and Sanders tell you, increasing the minimum wage by over 100% will increase prices of everyday products. More than that, flipping burgers simply is not worth that much money. A "living wage" is not something the government can just determine and make poverty disappear. The war on poverty failed because the government can never truly erase poverty, it has to be a societal change of helping one another and investing in jobs programs rather than welfare.

I have written about Sanders before and mentioned many of his flaws many times, but a new report that he could be gearing up for a 2020 run is a disturbing reality.

However, I need no more convincing that Sanders is a disaster waiting to happen if he were to obtain the Oval Office with a majority in Congress. Rather, it is the American people that do not seem to be informed on the issues Bernie gets wrong. A majority of Americans support single-payer health care which would cost an outrageous amount of money (the reason it has not even succeeded on a state level. If we want our healthcare to be run by the government and decrease its quality and hike taxes for most Americans than vote for Bernie.

Make no mistake, the ignorant mob of Americans that cling to Sanders' ideology does not validate his opinion. As we saw with the election of Trump, Americans can often make stupid political decisions.

I do not want to vote for a Trump term in 2020, please do not force me to. Republicans could nominate Mickey Mouse in 2020 and I'd hit the streets campaigning if Bernie was the opposition.

While Republicans continue to move farther right than, Democrats are also moving farther left. There is a golden opportunity for Democrats to get a president back and all they have to do is not be stupid.

Registered Democrats: Please vote for someone other than Bernie if he decides to run. Thank you in advance.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
