Trivia Crack, like its predecessors Words with Friends and Draw Something, is an interactive smartphone app that came into our lives thunderously, causing temporary insanity and addiction. Never mind that it is sure to sit forgotten on our home screens in a few short weeks, and later deleted for storage space. For now, it is the game we know and love, but certain categories are more lovable than others…
6. Science
Besides being the closest to questions you might find on a high school science test (which I, for one, would rather not relive), this character looks extremely irritated. He probably corrects people way too often, even at parties. If the Science category of Trivia Crack was on Friends, he’d be a total Ross.
5. History
History would have a much better ranking — because of his cute armor — if this category didn’t have such an extreme range of question difficulty. The questions range from “Who was the first U.S. president?” to “Who named the third Queen of England’s dog?”
4. Geography
Geography’s fine, he’s just kind of a try-hard, you know? Plus he looks so sad with the rain cloud over his head. The questions have a similarly gaping disparity in difficulty, which makes it really unfair when you’re in a close game with someone.
3. Art
If the character for the art category were a person, he’d be that guy who sniffs his wine before drinking it and tells you about the tannins. But being around him is kind of fun, because every time you get together, you feel like you’re a little bit better than everyone else. Plus, half of the questions’ answers are “Leonardo da Vinci,” so his pretentiousness is pretty much just a façade.
2. Sports
The sports guy is always fun. Sure, he’s a little intense and competitive during game day, but other than that, he’s a pretty chill dude. Plus, as someone with admittedly dismal knowledge in the realm of sports, the questions are pretty consistently easy.
1. Entertainment
Entertainment is your best friend. You see movies together, go to concerts together, and no one else is nearly as fun. Plus, if you’re under the age of 25, most of the questions are dead-giveaways.
