The Definitive Ranking Of The Pros Of Dancing With The Stars
Ellinor Lindahl

I know that Dancing With The Stars isn’t everyone’s go-to reality competition TV show with programs like The Voice that come on at the same time. However, DWTS is what I look forward to on Monday nights. I get very emotionally invested in all of the celebrities of course but my favorite part of the show is the pros! With the finals airing on the 20th, I’ve come up with my ranking of the top ten regulars on DWTS to cope. This isn’t to say that I don’t love everyone on the show but we all have our favorites.

10. Bruno Tonioli

Bruno possesses more energy in his tiny Italian body than most children. He never fails to make me smile when he is giving his over-the-top critiques. Whether it's him trying to crack a joke or falling out of his chair with excitement, he always makes me laugh.

9. Gleb Savchenko

Unfortunately, Gleb has been paired with a bunch of the older celebs and therefore tends to get kicked off sooner than the rest of my faves. However, this season he danced with Ali from Pretty Little Liars and I loved seeing him more!

8. Alan Bersten

Alan is such a sweetheart! He is always smiling and is always stepping in if the main pros can't dance. However, this season he got to be an actual pro but like Gleb, he was paired with an older contestant with little likelihood of winning.

7. Maks Chmerkovskiy

Maks is known for being one of the more intense/mean pros but c'mon! Look at that smile.

6. Erin Andrews

She is a queen. She's always asking what the people at home want to know. I don't know why but I just relate so much to her on this show, especially this gif.

5. Artem Chigvintsev

I love Artem. He has a really charming accent, rockin' bod, and he's a great dancer and teacher. This season he had white hair and I wasn't really feeling it but I can look past it.

4. Derek Hough

Derek Hough wasn't on this season but he is SO good looking, SO talented and just seems like an all-around great guy.

3. Mark Ballas

Mark is by far the most creative of the pros and always (in my professional opinion) the most interesting dances. He was born in England but moved to the US when he was little, so every now and then his little accent comes out and it makes me happy.

2. Whitney Carson

Whitney is the definition of #GOALS. She looks like a freaking Disney Princess.

1. Val Chmerkovskiy

If you know me AT ALL, you know my number one honey is Val Chmerkovskiy. I want to become famous enough to get on this show specifically so that he can be my partner.

Dancing with the Stars is what I look forward to most on Monday nights. Since I've been watching for so long now, I feel like I know these pros in a weird way and obviously, I'm very passionate about it. Who is your favorite pro?

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
