To My Future Husband,

I do not know who you are yet. I do not know where you are from or if we have met. I do not know if you are a cat or a dog person. I do not know what type of music you like to listen to or the names of your mother and father. But I do know that I love you.

I want to start off by saying thank you. Thank you for coming into my life and making me a happy person. I imagine that you will make me better person and that you will love God as much as I do.

I think about you daily. Do you like the same things that I do, or are we opposites? Will you love my family as much as they are going to love you? Will we have the same outlook on life? These are questions that I think about every single day that I am on this earth. I wonder if I have ever passed you on the sidewalk while going to a class or if I am just going to meet you while I am out in town one day.

One thing that I want you to know is that I will love you for you. Flaws and all. I will never put you down or make you feel like any less of a person. I will love you with everything that I have from the beginning to the end.

I will not sit here and say that our lives are going to be like the ones in the movies. Because I know that we are going to hit some rough spots, but that is to be expected. You are going to do some things that I do not like and I imagine I will do a lot of things you do not like, but hey, that is life. I will do my best to grow with you and inspire you to be a better person than you already are.

One day, we will meet, I do not know when that will be or if we have already passed that day. But whenever it happens, I hope that I will be ready.

Now I want to say, I am so sorry. I know that you are going to see me on my bad days. I hope you can handle that. Some days I just want to lay in bed and cry all day. Some days I will mad at the world for no reason and you will be lashed out at. Just pray for me, please. There will be rough days, there will be smooth days, but whatever kind of day it is, I hope that you will stay by my side through it all.

You and I are going to embark on a new adventure together as a couple. As Mr, and Mrs., I hope you are ready for that. I know that God will bring us together because we are going to be able to build each other up instead of tearing each other down.

I praise you already because I know that you are going to be an amazing man. I hope that you are more than what I can imagine and that you are going to show me that all of the guys that I thought I had loved were just mistakes.

I am not saying this will be perfect, it will be far from it. But with your help, I am going to be willing to build our marriage up and put it all into God.

I am praying for you. I am praying for myself. I am praying for us.

Sincerely,

Your Future Wife

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
