Fox Movies

I'm more than positive you all have seen this masterpiece of a movie. No, I am not talking about "The Wolf of Wall Street" or "Inglorious Basterds," but both excellent movies! The specific film I am talking about would happen to be about this Merc With A Mouth, the anti-hero "Deadpool." For those of you who are not totally aware of what this movie is about, I'll just give you a brief preview.

Wade Wilson, (the identity behind Deadpool), is diagnosed with terminal cancer, with only months to live. He is then presented another way to keep living, as long as he goes through this "treatment." Being a mercenary who just doesn't care for anybody but his one friend and later, girlfriend, he wasn't entirely scared of death. However, he had fallen in love and knew he wanted to be with her. So, he agrees to go through the process, expecting it to not be so painful, or even lengthy. I'll let you people see the actual movie to actually watch what type of "treatment" he has to go through. At the end of it all, he is made into a mutant who is unable to die by lone gunshots, lost limbs, or even incineration. He escapes this treatment plant creating mutants with other abilities and vows to search for this man named, "Ajax." Wilson later discovers this man's real identity is Francis, hence why so many dish soap jokes have been made. The rest of this film is for you to see in the near-future, and enjoy.

Despite this being a Marvel movie, this is not made for children. People think not only the directors, but Ryan Reynolds himself, are joking about this statement. Nobody is in any way. Recently, Ryan Reynolds was in a movie theater seeing this and noticed there were kids in the theater. He asked what the kids were doing in the movie, and people thought he was joking. He expressed his seriousness, and later assumed these kids could be adults since they were viewing this type of movie. He later told these children how babies are born (in more than enough sexual detail) and told them Santa is not real, and to enjoy the movie. This is not anybody joking for comedic and playful reasons. This is legitimately not made for kids. Deadpool is the Marvel character for adults. I compare it to a Kahlua Mudslide; chocolate milk for adults only. There is more than enough reasoning to justify why this movie is rated R. Between the crude jokes said by Deadpool, the nudity scenes and the intense violence, (Deadpool actually kills people) anybody can see this was made for the big boys and girls. So, if you so happen to be reading this with your kids and thinking, "Oh come on! How bad can it possibly be?!" Read some of the tweets from the Deadpool twitter handle and you'll get the idea.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
