The Days Following Christmas

Christmas Day is so longly awaited but always seems to go by entirely too fast. The days following Christmas can definitely be some hard ones for us all.

The night before when we are so extremely excited for Santa and Christmas Day

We sit down and tell all of our favorite Christmas stories

Waking up Christmas morning to all the gifts under the tree

Getting to enjoy all the delicious food that only comes around once a year

Then having the sudden realization that this won't all happen again until a whole year

Having a slow mental breakdown and going into full denial

But in the end you can pick yourself back up and will still always love Christmas and celebrate it whenever

Until next year December 25th...we will be waiting.
