College is rough. Sometimes the only thing that can get you through the day is watching your favorite show and laughing at how relatable the characters are. No one better describes any struggling college student than Barney Stinson from "How I Met Your Mother." Here are a college student's struggles throughout the semester as told by the man, the myth, the legen — wait for it — dary.

1. When your 7:00 a.m. alarm goes off and you think you can sleep for five more minutes.

2. When you sleep for more than five minutes and end up having 10 minutes to get ready for class.

3. When you get to class and the professor hands you a pop quiz.

4. Then she announces it's a group quiz and your friend is in the class.

5. ...But neither of you read the chapter...

6. But you bullshit enough answers to pass.

7. And all you can do is thank God.

8. When it's lunchtime and you and your friends need to decide where to go.

9. When you pick the place and it works out perfectly.

10. When your friend and her significant other decide to have some alone time, but you're lonely and want to hang too.

11. When you're in class and that snobby smart kid needs to prove, once again, that he's smarter than everyone.

12. But then the quiet girl who actually is smarter than everyone else has the best comeback.

13. When your friend is doing something stupid and you can't help but watch.

14. When you get sick before a weekend of parties.

15. When you're about to ask a girl out and you get a last-minute prayer from your wingman.

16. When the girl rejects you and you need to reevaluate your life.

17. When you acquire money, and it's been so long that you forgot what it's supposed to look like.

18. When you're at a party and your friend is blowing it.

19. When you leave the room after an exam.

20. When you're running on two hours of sleep and a lot of Redbull.

21. When you're five minutes into class.

22. When you need to pray for your professor to bump your 64 to a 94.

23. When you hear a juicy secret and just can't keep it to yourself.

24. When you and the squad 'bout to hit the club and you gotta look fresh.

25. When you all roll up together.

26. When you thought you could pull an all nighter, but you can't and you struggle through the next day.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
