You know the saying date a writer and you’ll live forever in his writing? The same stands true for a dancer. Date a girl who dances and you’ll live forever in the way she moves. Every single person she has ever been with has held a part of her and changed a part of her, changed the way she moved. Maybe one person made her moves softer while another made her moves sharp and hard. Every person who she has come into contact with has helped mold her into what she is.

Date a girl who dances and you’ll never be bored. Your life will be a constant wave of excited movements and entertaining moments. Date a girl who dances and you’ll grow to love her with you all you have. Date a girl who dances and you’ll grow to love everything that makes her, her. Every day will be an adventure with her because she is incapable of sitting still for too long.

When you date a girl who dances and she will never be still. She’ll skip, twirl and spin around you because walking normal isn’t something that she can do. You’ll understand why when any part of her body pops and cracks instead of flinching she smiles and says “I’ve been trying to get that to do that for days.” We stretch, move and bend wherever we are if our body feels the need to do so.

Date a girl who dances and you’ll see she’s not as strong as she lets you believe she is. She’ll have her insecurities and her self-esteem issues because of the things she’s been told. You’ll learn why she has the insecurities that she does, despite the fact that you think she has nothing to feel insecure about. You’ll also learn that she has her days where she thinks she’s invincible and her days when she doesn’t even feel like she’s good enough to call herself a dancer.

Dancers are perfectionists when they dance, would you expect anything else from their everyday life. They give their all in their art and they’ll give their all to you. But the will expect the same thing from you. They’ll expect your all and everything you can give because they’ll give you the same. They give as much as they can take. Never be afraid of giving her too much attention because she’s used to it but above all else, she’ll love it because it’s coming from you.

If you’re lucky you’ll get to see her at her most venerable. When she doesn’t feel as though she has to be as perfect as she’s trained to be. You’ll get to see her in the morning when she wakes up with her hair all over the place and no makeup on her face. You’ll get to run your hand through her hair because normally it’s up in a bun. If you’re lucky you’ll get to see her in the studio. Where all she may do is sway to the music while choreographing and mapping out the dance in her head. You’ll get to see her try and fail and try again at moves that she may not have perfected yet.

Date a girl who dances and you’ll grow to love her more and more each day. As days turn into months and months turn to years you’ll see something new in her every day. You’ll see that once a dancer has your heart she’ll always be there and the passion will never die. A girl who dances will encourage you to be the best person you can while being the most supportive person she can be for you.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
