From one broke girl to another, finding affordable cute clothes can be hard—but do not fear! Deal hunting is an art only few have mastered, and you can be among them. Here are some places you can start your cheap clothing journey:

1. Moby Thrift

I just found out about this online thrift shop. They have all different types of clothes, from vintage to newer and more "in style" options for a lot less. The items change often and sell out fast, but it's easy to find really great deal on clothes that are usually expensive or super hard to find.

2. Poshmark

Perfect for buyers and sellers, Poshmark has a variety of clothing brands from different sellers marked down much more than you could ever find on a sale rack. So while you're spending, you also have the opportunity to post your own clothes and potentially make money!

3. Target

You can find super cute options here that won't break the bank and are currently "in." Target offers a variety too so you have a lot to choose from for less than most name brand stores will sell similar styles for.

4. Urban Outfitters (Sale)

Urban Outfitters is known for it's outrageous prices, and often times you might find yourself biting the bullet and paying it for a cute sweater or pair of jeans. But, a lot of people overlook their amazing sale racks, particularly online. I've found dresses for $15 and under, cute shirts, and shorts too! You just gotta dig.

5. Goodwill

Yup, don't think you're "too good" for it. You can find some cool stuff here (especially their denim). The secret is to browse the Goodwills in expensive areas, as people usually with name brand stuff will drop their older clothes at their nearest Goodwill, so you're bound to find something really nice. Who doesn't want a cute pair of jeans for $5?

6. Plato's Closet

Plato's Closet is consignment shopping, similar to Goodwill, but the clothes are mostly name brand and many times, barely worn. If you're worried about quality, this place is for you. Not only that, but you can even take your own clothes that you no longer want or don't fit and get paid for them! You'll be pleasantly surprised with the number of people saying "That's so cute! Where'd you get it?"

7. Forever 21

It's almost like their prices are getting lower and lower, and you can find really cute stuff! You may have to check the back of most things to make sure "I Hate Mondays" isn't plastered on it...but hey, if that's all it takes, why not look around? In particular, they have really cute crop tops and dresses for low prices, and their sales are always amazing!!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
