Who is Crush?
Crush is a Korean hip hop and R&B artist who is widely known for his unique and beautiful voice. In fact, not only is he well-known in Korea, but he's also been noticed in the United States by Billboard. Crush has made an appearance in the U.S. recently during his Wanderlust tour. During this tour, Crush even stopped by here in Atlanta, Georgia on November 16th, 2016. Unfortunately, I barely knew Crush at the time, so I did not go. However, it did not stop me from listening to his music, which eventually led me to become an avid fan of his. How did I even start to like him and his music?
Well, it happened in a week in a course of five steps...
1. "Hey, do you know Crush?"
This unforgettable question led me to my love for Crush's music. During this time, the only Korean music I was into was K-Pop. I never even fathomed on listening to hip hop and R&B music. This was the time I decided to look him up. This was the beginning of my adoration for Crush.
2. "I think I'm going to check out his music."
This thought made me find out what was so special about Crush. I remembered how I fell in love with his soothing and beautiful voice. His voice was unique. It was enchanting. His singing can make anyone feel like they're floating in the clouds. In fact, the first song I ever heard from him was "Don't Forget." This song made me fall in love with not only his voice but Crush himself. Despite the fact that I am not fluent in Korean, I could still feel his emotions. This was the time that made me fall in love with Crush's voice.
3. "What's his Instagram?"
This question made me see the serious side of Crush. He also showed me his life. I got to see his dog and how goofy he was in real life. The pictures he takes are often serious, but anyone can tell that this guy is goofy. Additionally, I can tell how much he loves his dog. And honestly, a guy who loves his own dog is truly adorable.
4. "I wonder if he's ever been in any Korean reality television shows..."
This thought led me to discover Crush's amazing and adorable personality. I began to watch him on several Korean reality television shows and that was when I found out he is just a shy guy. His personality may not be outgoing, but he is special in his own adorable way. In fact, I even found out that Crush has a goofy side!
5. "He has a dog?"
His dog is incredibly adorable. I don't think there's much else to explain. And before I knew it, I had a crush.
