As the hipster chic style is slowly but surely making a comeback, there's a sudden crave for it. Not only within the clothes, but activities as well.

High-Waisted Shorts

Shorts that are now "in-style" would have been considered "mom jeans" a couple years ago. Very high-waisted, with enough material to cover everything but still highlight your curves. Trying to find shorts that are not high-waisted is almost impossible now. They're in demand, and everywhere. Not only are the high-waisted shorts making a comeback, but the high-waisted bathing suits as well. Typically people would be worried about a bad tanline by getting an irregular bathing suit, but it seems that style matters more than your tanline.

Drive-Ins

As years have gone by, the interest in going to normal movie theaters has passed. People want something new and exciting and unique. Teens are beginning to rave about drive-in movies and bringing them back. Fortunately, not all of them have gone out of business since improved technology. So the ones that are left have been catching a lot of business.

Crop Tops

It's now become completely acceptable in today's society to show your midriff in public. Crop tops and off the shoulder shirts and dresses are coming back, and even better this time. The intricate designs and bright colors are definitely a throwback to the 80's, but that's what draws interest.

Polaroid Pictures

As the need for speed affects today's society heavily, polaroid pictures and camera's have been making a comeback. Everyone wants to be able to capture the moment and have that picture immediately, and polaroid is the best way to make that happen. No one wants to have to drive to a CVS, hook their phone up, print out all the pictures they want and then pay for them. It's just easier to have a camera that prints your pictures immediately.

As styles seem to go in and out quickly, it's hard to say how long this will last. But as the need for throwbacks continues, it'll probably stick around for awhile.
