to be kind

but her words flutter away
like a leaf in September
and I try stop the Devil
from getting the best of me.
He's not my friend,

The Devil-
He's mean
as cruel as can be.
Sometimes he tempts me
He says I should go
up in the clouds
where he's no longer allowed.
It's hard to say no.
He says when I get there
there'll be no pain and sorrow.
No worries, no wishes
no hope for tomorrow.
He told me to listen,
Don't give in to fright.
"No",
