Ariana Grande's '7 Rings' Is The Confidence Boost We NEED In 2019

A lack of self-confidence is exactly what everyone wants to leave behind in 2018, and who better to say this than Ariana Grande? To say that 2018 was Ariana's year would be a drastic understatement, as she took the music industry by storm with her album Sweetener. And just when we thought she couldn't wow us with her musical talents any more than she already did, Ariana released "thank u, next" at the end of the year. Ariana Grande made 2018 a staple in her career, so how will she do in 2019?

Ariana has once again proven that her music will take precedent this year, just as it did in 2018, through releasing her single "7 Rings" just last week.

Not only is this song one that you could seriously vibe and bop to, but it's also already skyrocketing on the Billboard Top 100 list. The music site even predicts Ariana to reach the top of their chart by February 2, meaning she would hit number 1 in less than A MONTH. To give her even more credit, Ariana's recent single has already broken the record for the most streams in the UK, and she did it in a single week. Hats off to you, Ari.

So just how good is "7 Rings"?

A play on words for "The Sound Of Music's" "7 Things", Ariana Grande's new single uses a more pop-like version of the musical's more memorable hit. The entire song describes Ariana's lavish and luxurious lifestyle, and how she goes after what she wants, whether it's material items or not. Also, the song includes many references to female empowerment and to putting your girls first before everything. Ari said it best when she said: "I'd rather spoil all my friends with my riches."

They truly are one of the most important parts of our lives, and this year we make time for our girls.

If you listen to this song and don't feel like you're stunting on everyone you know, you need to really listen. What may seem like bragging is really just Ariana convincing fans that you should take what's yours and go after things you want. The entire point of the song is to exude your independence and show that you've got yourself and your friends to keep you afloat in this world.

Ariana Grande's "thank u, next" album is set to release in the near future. And if the rest of the album is anything like her two most recent hits, EVERYONE will be feeling the most confidence they've ever felt.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
