How necessities are stupidly expensive. @ toilet paper and paper towels

1. Sleep is a beautiful thing

... and lack of sleep is a huge nightmare.

2. Just making your bed can go a long way

This way if you have a bad day, you come home and at least one thing in right in the world. (Also it makes your room look clean, when its dirty).

3. There really isn't anything close to your mom's cooking

Actual footage of me trying to cook without mom's help.

4. You can procrastinate every assignment, but that doesn't mean you should

Congrats, you've proved to your professor it CAN be done at the last minute...while also completing two other assignments and getting an average grade on all three.

5. People will come and go, and it's for the best

A lesson learned quickly after the first 4 months of freshman year.

6. Don't let one professor question your major

Just don't.

7. It is okay to cry about stupid things

If you don't believe me, I cried the other night because I had just got into my apartment when I remembered I left my toilet paper in the car.

8. Enjoy the time with your friends, soon it'll be your best memories

9. It is okay to get upset about the big things

Never apologize for having a breakdown, we all have them

10. Learning to mind your own business

Yeah, you don't need to know what is always going on in someone else's life.

11. Girls will never understand boys and boys will never understand girls

I've tried to understand boys and surprise I'm confused about half the things they do.

12. Take a risk

Some of your best memories will come from taking a chance.

13. Life doesn't have to be perfect

Don't stress because you thought at 22 you would be married in a nice house with a stable job. Laugh because last night you stayed up till 2 am crying over the Office while eating dry cereal for dinner.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
