Starting the school year is extremely rough.

Getting back into the grind of a new schedule, studying, attempting to get to the gym daily to keep that dining hall food off you. It can all be overwhelming, which is why we are forever grateful for the on campus coffee joints, mid-day naps and most importantly, Netflix.

Maybe I speak for myself when I say that there is no way I'd survive college without Netflix. There are some days that I barely have time to eat, work out or let alone breathe, but I'll always be able to find time to squeeze in at least one episode of one of the binge-worthy shows that I'm currently watching.

So, for the sake of college students all around, I've created a guide of Netflix shows that are completely addicting, tear-jerking and hilarious for everyone to survive the semester, and many more to come.

1. "One Tree Hill"

A total classic, with one of the most iconic casts, "One Tree Hill" is guaranteed to serve you with life lessons about relationships, family and friendships. You're guaranteed to fall in love with at least one, if not both of the Scott brothers.

2. "Friday Night Lights"

A real heart-warming show; it will have you loving almost every character and feeling sympathy for them in all of their difficult situations.

3. "Gossip Girl"

Keeping up with the Upper East Side's elite will have you up all night and addicted.

4. "The Office"

Probably one of the funniest shows that I've watched, "The Office" is great for quick binge-watching and laughing.

5. "Riverdale"

Watch as the town of Riverdale come together to get to the bottom of a murder, and to keep not only themselves safe, but their reputations.

6. "Shameless"

Completely addicting, "Shameless" is one of the best shows and will have you hating and loving some characters. The best part is that there are numerous seasons, plus another one coming this year that will keep you going for a long time.

7. "13 Reasons Why"

Following the suicide of Hannah Baker, you listen to the 13 tapes that are the 13 reasons why she killed herself. Extremely emotional and powerful, it is definitely recommended. Although I can't say that it's much like the book, it is still worth the watch.

8. "Grey's Anatomy"

The ULTIMATE tear-jerker, "Grey's" will have you bawling your eyes out while at the same time making you feel like you're a doctor working beside them. It is a must-watch for anyone, plus the doctors are gorgeous!

9. "The Fosters"

A show reflecting the lives of a family that can relate to basically anything such as being adopted, ADD, gay marriage and more.

10. "Parenthood"

A real feel-good show that depicts one big family and the challenges that they face and overcome together.

11. "Gilmore Girls"

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
