College; primarily the most stressful thing you will encounter in your life. First, your parents send you to school for twelve years of your life and when graduation comes around the corner they tell you that you're almost there. When in reality you graduate to go to even more school that turns out to be ten times harder than any schooling you've already encountered. Along with this, you will begin to realize that there are things becoming very essential to your survival through your college years. Here are some of the most important necessities you will encounter.

1. NAPS!

Remember being in preschool and lacking the admiration for naps? For college its the complete opposite. If you have a chance to nap anywhere at any time I suggest you grasp the opportunity.

2. A Netflix Subscription

Who needs to pay for cable when you can get a subscription to Netflix for only ten dollars a month? All the latest shows and movies accessible at the touch of a button! The best part is its cheap!

3. Headphones

Every college student one time or another whether it's watching YouTube tutorials or listening to music to relax or even block out noise headphones are an essential tool for being successful in college.

4. Phone and a Charger


In today's society everyone has some type of phone; whether it be a home phone, flip phone, Android or iPhone. With college students, you "literally can't even" go ten minutes without some contact with the outside world.

5. Food


Food is like the "Holy Grail" of life; especially when you're broke and you know who's broke? COLLEGE STUDENTS! Food is one of the most important things in life figuratively and quite literally. Once we get some food I believe we can all relate to our friend Pooh.

6. Money!

You will learn as you get older there are many many bumps in the road and what helps us with most bumps we encounter? Money! As a student you may not be able to work thru amount of hours you desire to work. Therefore, money is scarce. Unfortunately, we need money to survive in our society; to get anything really or anything listed above really (besides the naps which is freaking amazing) so really its the most essential.
