Going to college in a college town is one of the best things you can ever do. The entire city cares about what is happening with your school, meaning that an astronomical amount of businesses will focus on trying to bring in the college population.
Lexington has a plethora of businesses that run specials for University of Kentucky students. And for those of us who are 21 or older, there are plenty of bars that run specials throughout the week and weekend to make sure that it is their establishment that we wonder into for a night out with our friends.
Some times it can be really difficult to decide where you should go for the night, but with this list of bars and their specific specials you are sure to find the right bar for you, on any given night of the week.
Tin Roof
Tin Roof has a fun atmosphere during the day offering food and drinks and turns into a great bar at night. Throughout the week they offer great deals. If you and your friends love good drinks and great music then this is the bar for you. Located on 303 South Limestone.
Monday: All day happy hour and trivia night starting at 8 p.m.
Tuesday: $2 domestic beers, $4 well drinks and $5 bombs all start at 7 p.m. Followed by beer pong at 10 p.m.
Wednesday: $5 quesadillas and $6 pitchers starting at 7 p.m. and power hour starting at midnight.
Thursday: Two for one drinks
Saturday: $6 pitchers til 6 p.m. and $5 sangrias all day.

Campus Pub
Campus pub runs deals that are great for any college student. Open 365 days a year, you are sure to find yourself here from time to time. This summer they have added new deals for the up coming fall semester that you cannot beat. Come by here during the day to grab food or even order late, the kitchen stays open til 2 A.M.! Enjoy the drinks and the food. Located in Imperial Plaza, 393 Waller Ave.
Sunday: $10 bottomless mimosas, $7.50 Budweiser and Bud Light pitcher and $3 PBR tall boys.
Monday: Trivia night, $2 Budweiser and Bud Light drafts, $4 martinis. Greek night: $5 pitchers, $3 Long Island Ice Tea. Also 25% off for people in the medical industry.
Tuesday: Two for one drinks
Wednesday: Service industry night. After 10 p.m all people with service industry ID receive 50% off.
Thursday: All day happy hour priced drinks. $2 Budweiser and Bud Light bottle, $3 well drinks
Friday: $4 Jack Fire, Jack Honey and Fireball shots
Saturday: $4 Bacardi drinks

Two Keys Tavern
Two Keys is without a doubt one of the most well known bars in Lexington. They never have a cover charge and with three bars located within the bar you are sure to be able to get a drink even on the busiest nights. And don't forget that Goodfellas pizza is sold here, perfect for the end of your night. Located at 333 South Limestone.

Stagger Inn, formerly known as Redmons' is located downtown. This bar has many great deals and is perfect when you feel like going deeper in the heart of downtown. Stagger is by late night food options which makes it a great place to stay out with your friends. Located at 269 West. Main St. # 50

Tuesday: $2 Southern Comfort shots after 10 p.m.

These are just a few of the great bars that Lexington has to offer. I certainly would not limit yourself to only these bars but they offer college students the most bang for our buck. There are several different features going on each night of the week. The hardest choice we have to make is deciding which deal to indulge in for the night/day. You have all semester to check out all the deals each place offers, you should never say you are bored when we have all of these options! Remember to be smart and have fun! These bars will give you memories(if you can remember) that will last you a lifetime!
