Coming into college, you don't really know what kind of expectations to have about your roommate. Its a common question of is she going to be my best friend? Or are we just going to be civil and get along inside of the room? I know coming into college I was telling myself that even if my roommate isn't my best friend, it would be OK. Little did I know, she became my best friend. Don't forget to thank your college roommate for all of the not so little things they do for you.
1. Thanks for being my personal therapist in all of the (many) times that I needed you.
2. Thank you for being my college mom and always making sure I get my homework done and taking care of me when I'm sick (especially delivering Starbucks to me in bed).
3. Thank you for tolerating me. I know I can sometimes be bizarre.
4. Thank you for always checking up on me when I'm not back yet ("I'm not crazy, but can you please just let me know that you're OK").
5. Thank you for proofreading almost all of my papers and helping me prepare for exams.
6. Thank you for the endless food, target, and Wegmans trips. Couldn't imagine running through aisles without you.
7. Thank you for tagging me in funny videos and pictures that you know will make my day.
8. Thanks for just sitting and letting me cry even though it probably made you extremely uncomfortable.
9. Thank you for motivating me to go to the gym and do the things I never want to do.
10. Lastly, thanks for being my best friend at college and outside of college. Ladies, I'm sure a lot of these relate to you and your roommate so don't forget to thank them every once in a while.
