In college, things can be hectic and it hard to keep up with the latest trends. I often find myself decorating the same, doing the same hairstyles, and reading the same boring columns. I then got into daily checking out my favorite bloggers and see how they take on the day. I love regularly checking out lifestyle blogs because they offer me new and fresh ideas for fashion, decor, and daily tips. Since I have been more active in keeping up with these blogs I have found myself getting on redundant social media way less (Snapchat, Twitter, etc). In all honestly, Snapchat stories and tweets are all the same every single day. Getting my entertainment from bloggers I find inspiring give me new ideas and actually excited for the day!
Etsée is my absolutely favorite blogger to keep up with. I follow her on all social media and regularly check out her youtube channel. She truly embodies a lifestyle that is something I hope to one day even half attain. The normal college-aged student seems to live for long hair and extreme contour and I find peace in her refreshing bob cut and natural looks. She sparks interest in products and places that are realistic things for girls in their 20-somethings to try. She is a lipstick lover and my favorite foodie!
2. Julia Engel (Gal Meets Glam)
Julia Engel is the perfect lifestyle blogger for a female college student. She is so relatable to the life we are living right now. Julia got her start for blogging when she was a junior in college. College really gives you the travel bug that you need to get out of your system before settling down for the long haul. I love checking out Gal Meets Glam's section on travel. It gives interesting locations to places I hope I could adventure out to someday.
3. Love Taza
I don't know about you, but I am itching with baby fever. Love Taza is so exciting because I love watching her grow with her sweet little family. Taza (Naomi) offers a rich blog with tons of tidbits on love, marriage, food, and fashion. My favorite section of her blog is called "litte dates" were we get a sneak peak into her love endeavors.
4. Cassandra Lavall (coco + kelley)
Coco + kelley is a wonderful blog that offers interesting tidbits on intereior design. I love imagining my future home and use coco + kelley's post on home life to let me imagination run wild. Coco + kelley is the one stop shop for just about everything: DIY, home, fashion, art, and beauty. The best feature of this lifestyle blog is that you can search by color!
College trends tend to be redundant and not that interesting. These bloggers offer refreshing and delightful insight on life and how to take it all in. Erase Snapchat for a day and check out these blogs instead, you won't be disappointed!
