I'm drinking tea all day everyday... and not just when I'm sick. Yes, I'm sick right now, but I love tea all the time! Get excited about some of these odd teas and the new classics, too. Adding just one more flavor to your home collection will add a LOT of variation to your life.

Caffeinated

Specialty teas like this nod to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Do these slightly more expensive, super-creative teas actually taste better than the teas you can buy at Acme? I don't know, but I'm willing to experiment.

Masala chai

Most people haven't really experienced an authentic chai tea. I really like the "fake" kind, so I intend to taste the real deal ASAP.

Strawberry and lychee green tea

Sometimes incorporating a fruit with a classic green tea can add a brightness that breaks up the bitterness in a delightful way. The more colorful, the more fun!

Super-caffeinated tea

Tea companies want to get the attention of the coffee addicts now by marketing a hyper-caffeinated version of their product! I'm in.

Decaf

Chocolate tea

This Hawaiian brand takes pride in a raw cacao presentation that reflects a coffee bean aesthetic. There are lots of kinds of chocolate tea, but I don't think I've ever had any of them!

Honey vanilla chamomile

I stand by this flavor as the best way to drink chamomile tea. Chamomile tea is calming, but it tastes weird, and this combo revives the flavor! Plus, this is a very cost effective brand.

Cherry tea

A nice, rich cherry tea functions perfectly on a cold October evening-- it'll look like you're sipping some hot blood. Do it for the vampire aesthetic.

Throat coat

When I was in theater, this tea helped save many a show. If you've never tried it, you should... just to feel the sensation of it smoothing your throat. I don't understand how it works. Be warned; it tastes licorice-y.

Did NYC's CUNY student give 'hate-filled' commencement speech against Jews?

City University of New York and its law school came under scrutiny for a commencement ceremony that featured a keynote speech seen as discriminatory against Jews. The school system, better known as CUNY, released a statement condemning the remarks as “hate speech” following a widespread outcry and calls for the college to speak out.

To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before...

One of the things that I love most is space. I am a HUGE space nerd. Literally ask any of my friends. I was first introduced to space when my dad dragged me to see Star Trek. Since walking out of that movie theater in 6th grade, becoming an astronaut hasn't been just some wild dream that could come true.
