Everyone says water is the most important drink, but let's be honest...it's really coffee. I don't know where I would be without coffee by my side, but I'm guessing I would still be in bed unwilling to face the world!
1. There are SO MANY ways to drink it!!
Whether you like it hot or cold. Plain or with all of the beautiful topping combinations that make coffee so good, there is no shortage of ways to drink it. Also, because of the endless varieties, it doesn't matter what season it is, because there is the perfect coffee for you!
2. Because it is always there for us.
Late nights full of projects or papers are a weekly occurrence in college. Even after everyone on campus has gone to bed, it is coffee that is there to support your late night endeavors (also, to keep us sane in our classes the morning after those late nights)
3. Because let's be honest, who actually likes 8 am classes?
If you are anything like me, 8 am classes are the bane of your existence. Yeah, I'll get my butt out of bed, put on questionably clean clothes, and SOMEHOW make it to class on time. But not without the help of caffeinated sidekick! If it is before 10 o'clock in the morning, you can bet that I will have my trusty coffee cup!
4. Even just the smell is intoxicating.
Have you ever walked into a store and just smelled the overwhelming aroma of coffee? Well, that has almost the same effect on me as actually drinking it. I love when the library smells like coffee, because there is just a certain buzz in the air. It wakes me up and gives me a sense of confidence that tells me I actually CAN write that 7 page paper that is due in 2 days!
5. Lastly, because after all the work and stresses that come along with college, it is important to still have fun.
And after having a presentation, two papers, lessons, AND regular homework, we NEED that caffeine to keep us awake long enough to relax with our friends and unwind. Coffee is the beautifully multipurpose drink that can not only help us achieve our work, but also ensure that we rewind before starting another stressful, and busy week!
So, let's pour ourselves a nice cup of coffee, keep our heads held high, and keep on pushing until the weekend. I believe in you!
