If you are an out-of-stater, odds are your fashion sense has changed greatly since your arrival at your Vermont college. You may have noticed that the locals are obsessed with a few of these brands and that they don't really seem to care much about matching (or mixing patterns). Vermonters love fashion just as much as anybody else, but they do things a little differently than you may have been accustomed to. Here are a few clothing items you probably now own thanks to your time spent in college in Vermont.
1. Birkenstocks.
2. A flannel (or many).
3. Bean boots.
4. Hunter boots.
5. Tie dye.

6. Hiking boots.
7. A big winter coat.

8. Some funky socks.
To go with your Birks, of course!
9. A big, grandpa sweater.
10. Patagonia and/or Vineyard Vines.
And, remember: in Vermont, everything matches with everything!
