Home from college this summer and need plans in the Cleveland area? Here are some of the hottest concerts planned near you to complete your summer bucket list!

1. Foster The People

If you love Indie Pop, don't miss out on Foster the People at the Agora on June 3rd!

2. Tom Petty

I'm sure mom and dad wouldn't mind a ticket!! Catch Tom Petty at the Q on June 10th!

3. BoB

Don't miss your chance to relive your middle school dance days by jamming out to some BoB. BoB will be at the House of Blues on June 14th!

4. Miike Snow

More Indie Pop!! Catch Miike Snow, the Swedish Indie-Pop band in Akron at the Goodyear theatre on June 17th

5. Dead and Company

Your summer won't be complete until you see a show at Blossom. If you're a "dead head" this show is a must-see for you. Get your lawn seats now for the June 28th show!

6. U2 with One Republic

Don't miss your chance to "count the stars" with One Republic from First Energy Stadium on July 1st!

7. Meek Mill and Yo Gotti

You can't head back to college without attending at least one rap concert. PLUS this one has the best view of downtown, right on the Cuyahoga River at Jacobs Pavilion. This show is July 5th.

You can never attend too many shows at the Pavilion! Third Eye Blind will be performing with Silversun Pickups July 8th!

Another Pavilion show! You can't beat an outdoor show during the summer! Rain or Shine Jacobs has got you covered! Buy tickets for the show on August 5th!

11. Vans Warped Tour

ATTENTION POP PUNK LOVERS: Vans Warped Tour will be rolling into Blossom on July 18th!

12. Queen and Adam Lambert

Attend the July 21st show at the Q to see Adam Lambert perform with Queen!

13. Bruno Mars

Catch Bruno at the Q on August 15th!

14. Green Day

Green Day will go down as one of the best shows i've ever been to! Pay the extra money for the pit tickets at Blossom, you won't regret it! They'll be playing on August 21st!

15. Kings of Leon

This is one I can't afford to miss! Another Blossom show to complete the summer! See Kings of Leon on August 16th!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
