I love when I come across thriving artists from Indianapolis. Indiana is full of talent and if you know where to look it's easy to find those gems. Charles Ditchley, aka Chucky Workclothes is the real deal. He's a hip-hop artist and a family man, he is working, trying to make a name for himself all while parenting. I know better than anyone how hard doing anything is when caring for a family. Chucky Workclothes is doing it! Here's a look into what he's doing right now and some goals he has for 2017.

1. Tell me about you as an artist. What kind of music do you perform? How long have you been into the music scene?

I make reality based music about my own life and experiences. As I've matured in life so has my music. I've been rapping since high school and actively pursuing it for about 7 years.

2. Being a family man, how do you find the work/life balance?

It is very hard. I am definitely blessed to have a girlfriend and grandmother who have helped me out to remain able to put time into my music and travel when needed.

3. What are you working on right now, music wise? Any tours? Shows?

I am currently working on my third installment of my Professor Works Laboratory EP Series as well as a Project with Omega. We are also booking for The Hard Work Pays Off Tour for 2017 right now

4. You recently gave a birthday visit to a young fan, what was that about? What made you do something like that?

I just think it's amazing when young kids enjoy my music. I know they really look up to us. If it makes their day to meet me, I'm honored to be able to do it and I always keep them in mind. It helps me stay in a positive mind frame.

5. What do you see yourself doing in 2017?

More New Music, More Traveling and More Growth as a Person.
