Two words: Chuck Bass. Need I say more? Chuck Bass is one sexy, fashion-forward, bad ass, boss, and character on Gossip Girl. Guys want to be him and girls want him.
Chuck Bass is the ultimate frat star. Chuck Bass is the Gatsby of the Upper East Side and here is why:
1. Blair Waldorf is the ultimate arm candy.
Blair is actually more than pretty and fashionable arm candy. She stands up for herself and doesn't let people just walk all over her. She's a great friend, not to mention she is smart,
clever, and poised. She's not perfect and she can be very bitchy at times. But Blair is Queen B. She looks up to Audrey Hepburn too, who happens to be a pretty cool role model. Blair is always there for Chuck. They have their ups and downs, but she's a great girl to Chuck and he would do anything for her. Blair is more than a slam-piece. Blair is #TSTC.
2. He's great with business.
Sidenote-Ladies: Many frat stars are in the business school so they are potential Chuck Basses! Y’all better head to Conner and Holman Hall ASAP. Chuck likes to keep it professional and keep the drama out when it comes to his career life. He took over his father's company as a teenager. He's a mature frat star that's for sure!
3. He's there for his bros. Nate and Chuck have an awesome bromance.
There are even times where Chuck and Dan are friends, except Dan def broke the bro code when he dated Blair for a little bit (ew that was a weird relationship).
4. Suit game too strong.
Chuck Bass can pull off a suit like no one else. He has a timeless, classy and preppy look.
5. He respects Blair's friends.
His friends respect her. He isn't rude to Serena usually. Blair's friends are Chuck's friends.
6. Chuck isn't afraid to flaunt/show off what he's proud of.
He treats Blair like a queen when they're together. He likes to show her off. He's not ashamed of his lady and wants the world to know that he adores her.
7. He's a bad boy that has a soft, sweet spot in his heart for a good woman that Blair is.
Us girls can't help but love a bad boy who is truly sweet at heart. I'm not saying date a guy who's a complete jerk in hopes that you can change him (because we know that never works). One of the reasons I love Gossip Girl so much is the fact that from the first episode until the last, Chuck changes so much. I've watched the whole series twice and I can see that Chuck became a better man mostly because of Blair.
8. Chuck Bass just wins at life and isn't basic.
He's very confident and doesn't take petty stuff from anybody.
