Look, I know 2020's been rough. I'm not saying we couldn't use some Christmas cheer. But Thanksgiving still exists, and I think it's important now in particular to remember and be grateful for the things that really matter. Besides, we didn't have the pandemic as an excuse for radio stations playing Christmas songs in November all those other years.

Come on, just look at the titles of the songs themselves. Here's 12 of them that show Christmas music was just meant for December, or, if you really, really want, at least the day after Thanksgiving.

1. "All I Want For Christmas is You" — Mariah Carey

Aren't you going to see them at Thanksgiving?

2. "Frosty the Snowman" — Gene Autry

He's not ready to come back yet.

3. "Sleigh Ride" — Amy Grant

Not sure where you're going to go sleigh riding in the middle of fall.

4. "Where Are You Christmas?" — Faith Hill

Maybe it's hiding behind Thanksgiving.

5. "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" — Andy Williams

Let's be honest, has 2020 really had a "most wonderful time" yet?

6. "Winter Wonderland" — Michael Bublé

Once again, not even close to winter.

7. "Last Christmas" — Wham!

You've still got Thanksgiving to enjoy, why are you already worrying about last Christmas?

8. "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" — Bing Crosby

Jill Wellington // Pexels

Santa hasn't even started packing yet.

9. "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" — Dean Martin

Not yet it's not.

10. "Christmas Time is Here" — Vince Guaraldi Trio

Craig Adderley // Pexels

Actually, Thanksgiving Time is here at the moment.

11. "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" — Gene Autry

Tim Gouw // Pexels

We don't even know if we'll need him yet.

12. "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" — Dean Martin

Do we want that much snow already?

Trust me, the minute it's December 1st, I'm cranking up 101.5 The River and singing my heart out. I'll even tolerate Christmas music in those last few days of November. But let Thanksgiving be.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
