13 Reasons You Should Choose Missouri State

I chose Missouri State for several reasons. When I toured the campus, I knew it was the place for me. When I arrived in the fall began to understand the great decision I had made. I have found a lifeline, a support system, and a second family. You should always go maroon!

The Beautiful Campus

From the fountain to the beautiful architectural design of the buildings Missouri State is the most beautiful campus in the USA.

All The Free Stuff

Free concerts, free t-shirts, and most importantly free food.

We Have Growing Programs

Our women's basketball team dominates, and so does our fine arts.

It Is An Inclusive Campus

We are very accepting of people from all backgrounds.

Our President

Clif Smart is an ICON.

Our Mascot Is A Bear

RAWR, Go Bears!

We Have Great Greek Life

Fraternity-Sorority Life here is a huge family.

There Is An Academic Program For Everyone

With MSU's create your own major, the options are endless.

Springfield's Culture

Downtown and the mall are some of the best places ever.

Thousands of endless options that taste amazing.

There are several opportunities to get involved on campus. Whether it be University Ambassadors or joining a club MSU offers different ways to be a leader.

You will quickly feel like campus is your home, and it is where you always want to be.

While the idea of free time without a stressful job or an abundance of schoolwork looming over your head may sound like a dream, it can be a nightmare at times. Having a couple of days to decompress is needed for a healthy mind and body. But when too many days go by, it can cause a downward spiral of thoughts and feelings.

As a recent jobless graduate, I was ecstatic to be free from responsibility and take a break from my normal life. That was until I realized just how responsible I had been and needed to be to continue being self-sustained. I learned a few things in this month of unemployment that encouraged me to find a job as soon as possible.

42. When someone says, "no offense," and then continues to say something offensive.
