On Saturday, April 11th, Montclair State University had their annual spring concert. This year, the headliner was powerhouse DJ trio known as Cheat Codes.

Cheat Codes is known for such songs as "Sex," "Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)," "Feels Great" featuring Fetty Wap, "No Promises" featuring Demi Lovato, and more. The three members all hail from the Los Angelas area, and they were all involved in music individually before the trio joined forces to create Cheat Codes in 2015.

The concert was set to run from 7 pm to 10 pm. Everything seemed to be running smoothly. The doors to Montclair State University's Memorial Auditorium, where the concert was set to take place, opened promptly at 7. Once through ticket check and security, it was finally time to enter the auditorium.

It seemed to take a while before they were ready to get started. It was almost 8 pm before the first act came out. The first act was an up and coming artist from New York City named P. Muna. He recently released his first album titled 1991. He performed songs from this album as well as his own versions of well-known songs. He threw out some hats which said 1991 to the crowd to further promote his new Album. P. Muna did a very good job of hyping up the crowd.

After P Muna, an artist named Cade performed. Cade, an artist from the Los Angelas area, released his first EP in 2016. In 2017, Cade collaborated with Cheat Codes on a remix of a song which ended up being streamed over 300 million times. This remix achieved gold certification in the US as well as platinum certification in the UK. At a young age of 21, Cade seemed to be quite popular with the ladies. He had many enjoyable songs which he performed.

Finally, Cheat Codes came out when it was almost 9 pm. Cheat Codes played many great songs. They remixed songs by artists like Drake, the Killers, Daft Punk, Travis Scott and more. They even performed original songs of theirs such as their collaboration with Fetty Wap called "Feels Great" and their collaboration with Demi Lovato called "No Promises."

Much to everyone's surprise, Cheat Codes even performed a brand new song which they had not yet released. In my opinion, their new song was actually quite good. Their performance lasted about one hour and ended around 10 pm.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
