A Definitive Ranking Of The People Who Made 'One Tree Hill' The Phenomena It Is Today

"One Tree Hill" was and continues to be the show that holds my soul. This is my attempt at trying to make a ranking of as many characters that appeared on the show and made an impression on us all.

The Core 5:

1. Brooke

The best development of all the characters.

2. Haley


Who doesn't love Haley?

3. Nathan


From the one everyone hates to the one everyone gawks over.

4. Peyton


She really went through it and seemed to never catch a break.

5. Lucas

Love him in season one and six, but he did get whiny in between.

Supporting characters:

1. Jamie


The cutest kid on the show and he had the best relationship with #2.

2. Skills


Never failed to make me laugh.

3. Mouth


One of the greatest guys on the entire show.

4. Quinn


Filled half of the void in my heart when Peyton and Lucas left.

5. Clay


Filled the other half of the void in my heart.

6. Julian


Yet another guy that both Brooke and Peyton date, still perfect for Brooke nonetheless.

7. Millie


Not a fan of her in season 7.

8. Mia


I wish she had more on-screen time.

9. Chase


In the words of Jamie, "you're no Grubbs."

10. Alex


Everything she did cause my blood pressure to rise.

Everyone's favorite characters to hate:

1. Dan


Even with all the bad, there's no way he could have just been not a part of Tree Hill.

2. Chris Keller


I am personally a fan of him.

3. Victoria


She was horrible to her daughter but things were all right in the end.

4. Nanny Carrie


I will admit I felt some sympathy for her after knowing what happened but damn.

5. Psycho Derek


The epitome of the person your parents warned you about on the internet.

6. Katie


Clay's dead wife...whaat?

Honorable mentions:

Deb, Karen, Larry, Keith, Coach Whitey


They did add some guidance (maybe not Deb) in the insane world that was Tree Hill. Also: Keith deserved so much better.

Junk


Didn't necessarily have his own development but he was on the Rivercourt and hung out with Lucas, Skills, and Mouth.

Fergie

Chuck

Famous for yelling his name and punching people in the gut.

Sam


Loved her relationship with Brooke and would have loved to see her stay in Tree Hill.

Jake

Honestly wouldn't have been mad if he ended up with Peyton.

Quentin

His funeral will bring out the ugly cry in you.

I'm sure there are varying feelings on this and so many other characters but we can all agree on one thing: Netflix should put it back on.
