During these summer months, don't miss your chance to take a day trip to Falmouth with your friends! There are so many reasons why I love hauling the distance for my favorite town on Cape.
First, you have to start your day off at Betsey's Diner on Main Street. They will serve you the best Eggs Benny you will ever have and the diner has this cool classic retro vibe that you need in a diner. Then after you've gotten the most important meal of the day out of the way, the best place to take a beautiful nature walk to is the Knob. It's a beautiful beach and such a fun adventure once you get to the end and admire the view. The water is so clear, and it's never too crowded and makes a sick story since the Knob has a geotag on Snapchat.
Once you have completed your time at the beach, your day is far from over. It's super fun to go to Knobska beach and see the lighthouse and admire yet another breathtaking view that Falmouth/Woods Hole has to offer (also has a Snapchat geotag).
Since you've gotten your cardio done with hikes and walks, it's finally time to eat. There are so many great choices for lunch/dinner that you can't really mess up, but there are some favorites of mine that really have great food. Being the Mexican food enthusiast that I am, I love this new restaurant off of main street Called Casa Vallarta! There, the appetizers are to die for and the bean dip is fantastic! But you also can't go wrong with any of the restaurants on the main street for dinner. Añejo is also really good (the guac there, OMG).
Hoping that the weather is nothing less than spectacular, after dinner you can admire the sunset from the Falmouth marina or any beach and shortly afterward make your way down to Woods Hole for dessert. Pie in the Sky is by the far the best pie place ever; I live for their key lime pie, and it's got the cutest atmosphere and the best post-meal treats for those with a sweet tooth. And once the sun has set and the stars have come out, nothing is nicer than taking a stroll on the Woods Hole golf course and stargazing.
Hopefully I've inspired you to go exploring deeper into these towns on Cape because our little peninsula really has so much to offer!
