Camp Friends Are The Best Friends

They are there for you through thick and thin.

Whether near or far, camp friends will always be there for you. The friends you make at camp are lifelong friends. They have seen you at your absolute worst in the morning and they still love you. Sleepaway camp becomes your home away from home. The people there become your new family in this new home.

1. They deal with you, constantly, for two months straight

One cabin. Fourteen girls. For two months straight, you are living on top of each other. You are stuck hanging out with each other all the time. Yet, it only makes you closer. There aren't many people I can deal with 24/7, but my camp friends are the exception. I never get sick of being with them. Ever. And when it is time to say goodbye, we can't wait to do it again next summer.

2. Even if they live far away, they are always the first people there for you

I know that no matter what time it is, where they are, or what they are doing, my camp friends will always be there for me. When it seems like the world is going to end, they are the ones who calm me down and just have this way of making everything okay. My camp friends know that I am only one text, car ride, or plane ride away and the same goes for them with me. They are the first people I go to when I need something and they never let me down.

3. They are your "forever friends" no matter what

Friends come and go but camp friends stay forever. They have become your second family and a part of your life. Even if you fight, it will never ruin your friendship. And even if you rarely speak, they would still do anything and everything for you. The best feeling in the world is being reunited with your camp friends. But, unfortunately, it never gets easier to say bye to them and go your separate ways. There is just something so special about camp friends. I guess that's what makes them the best friends around.

11 Ways You Found The Cristina To Your Meredith

"We're friends, real friends, and that means, no matter how long it takes, when you finally decide to look back, I'll still be here."

The term "my person" describes the relationship between two people who have reached the highest level of friendship. They're people who have ridden the roller coaster of life together for so long that their lives would be boring without each other. In "Grey's Anatomy," the characters of Meredith Grey and Cristina Yang describe each other as each other's "person." They have a perfect friendship. Everyone (including myself) strives to achieve a friendship like theirs. What is it like to have "your person?"

1. Your person will tell it like it is.

If you think that your new haircut looks bad or if that dress makes you look fat, your person is always there to reassure you that nobody cares.

2. Your person is always on your team.

Whether it's an argument between you and your parents or you and your boyfriend/girlfriend, your person will always be there. They will go to bat for you 10/10 times and they will always be there to have your back.

3. Your person will celebrate the small victories with you.

Did you go an entire day without crying? Awesome, let's celebrate! Did you eat something other than chocolate chip cookies for breakfast? That's wonderful! The small victories count the most.

4. They will listen to you, even when you are ranting about the craziest things.

Let's face it, we have all been there. When it's late at night and we're laying in bed, thinking of the world's hardest questions, and you start to think about crazy scenarios, your person is always there to listen.

5. People instantly think that you and your person are a couple.

You aren't a couple, you just understand each other on a much higher level, so people think that you guys are in a relationship. Just go with it.

6. Your person isn't afraid to tell you that they are embarrassed by you.

Everyone gets embarrassed about each other at one point or another. Most people just pretend that it doesn't happen. Your person is going to flat out tell you that your actions and the things that you say embarrass the crap out of them.

7. Your person isn't afraid to knock you down a few notches.

Just when you think that you are on top of the world, your person will come and pop the growing balloon known as your head. They aren't afraid to snap you back into reality.

8. They will build you up faster than they will tear you down.

Yes, they will bring you back to reality and tell you like it is, but they will also be the first one to encourage you and to tell you how wonderful you are.

9. Your person is not afraid to call your bluff.

They will call you out on your BS and make you tell them how you really feel, so they can help fix you.

10. You stick together no matter what.

Even though you get mad at each other, or don't speak for a few days, you will always stick together.

11. In the end, no matter what, no matter who comes in and out of your life, your person will always be your person.

Your person is there no matter what. They care when no one else does and they are always there to hold your hand.

Find your person and never let them go. They are your best friend, your worst enemy, and your biggest critic, but they know you better than you know yourself sometimes.

As for my "person," you know who you are. I love you and couldn't do life without you.

5 Things You Should Expect During The First Week Of Your Disney College Program

Set yourself up for success.

Whether you're moving to Florida as a College Program or International College Program intern, there are a few things that all new CPs go through before they get access to the parks. Knowing about these things beforehand will help you better prepare for what's to come, and maybe even help you get even more excited for your upcoming program.

1. You're going to meet a lot of people.

During the first week of your DCP, you're going to meet way too many people. This will seem overwhelming at first, especially if you're not good with names. Nevertheless, this will be one of the most important things (if not THE most important thing) you will do during your entire program. Getting to know new people will set the tone for the rest of your time in Orlando, because you will now have a ton of new friends to hang out in and out of the parks with!

2. You're going to resort hop. A lot.

Since you won't have park admission just yet, you're probably going to want to visit all the different resorts that Walt Disney World has to offer, as well as other stuff around Orlando. This is a truly great experience that you might not have had the chance to do in the past, simply because you were too busy touring the parks. Make sure to take in all the different activities that Orlando has to offer, especially the free stuff.

3. You're going to miss your family.

It's important to note that during the first week of your DCP, you will be moving into an entirely new home, with new roommates, and you're going to start a new job. All of this will seem quite a bit overwhelming at first, and you're going to miss your family, your friends, and your home. If you're ever feeling really down, don't be afraid to tell your roommates and your friends. You might be surprised to learn that they're feeling the exact same way, and maybe then you won't feel as lonely.

4. You're going to do a lot of cleaning up.

As soon as you've completed your check-in, you're going to run to your apartment only to open the door and step into a dusty, dirty, old place. It won't feel very homey right off the bat, so you and your roommates will probably want to clean up before you actually start moving in and decorating. This would also be a good time to make a chore chart in order to keep the apartment ready for inspections.

5. You won't be able to contain your excitement.

I promise you will scream and shout every single time you drive below the famous Walt Disney World Resort sign, and that's totally okay. You're about to spend the next few months living and being a cast member at the Place Where Dreams Come True, and it's honestly going to feel like a dream in itself. Make sure to take in all of this excitement, because this is a time in your life that you will never get back.

Whether you're very excited, very overwhelmed, or all of the above, the first week of your Disney College Program will definitely be a whirlwind of emotions. Just remember to sit back and meditate every once in a while, because you've been given an opportunity that a lot of people would die for. Enjoy each and every single day, because it will go by so fast. I promise that by the time your program ends, you're going to yearn for the time when you couldn't even get into the parks yet.
